This Intellectual Property Policy outlines the ownership, permitted use, and protection of intellectual property associated with the Dhark Veltex platform and its services. By accessing or using our platform, you acknowledge and agree to the terms described in this policy.

1. Platform Ownership

All content, features, and functionality available on the Dhark Veltex platform — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, video materials, course content, software, and data compilations — are the exclusive property of Dhark Veltex or its content licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

The platform itself, including its underlying code, design system, user interface, and architecture, constitutes protected intellectual property. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or derivative use of any platform component is strictly prohibited.

2. Trademarks and Branding

The name "Dhark Veltex," associated logos, taglines, and any other brand identifiers displayed on the platform are trademarks or service marks of Dhark Veltex. Nothing in this policy or on the platform grants any right to use these marks without prior written authorization.

You may not use Dhark Veltex trademarks in connection with any product or service that is not offered by us.
You may not use our trademarks in any manner that is likely to cause confusion, disparagement, or misrepresentation.
Third-party names and logos appearing on the platform remain the property of their respective owners.

2. Educational Content and Course Materials

2.1 Platform-Produced Content

All course materials, lesson plans, instructional videos, exercises, assessments, and supporting documents created and published by Dhark Veltex instructors or staff are the sole property of Dhark Veltex. These materials are provided to enrolled users solely for personal, non-commercial educational purposes.

2.2 Permitted Use by Learners

Registered users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use course materials for personal learning purposes only. This license does not include the right to:

Download, reproduce, or copy course content beyond what is explicitly permitted by the platform interface.
Share, redistribute, resell, or sublicense any course material to third parties.
Use any course material for commercial purposes, training of others, or in any public-facing capacity.
Modify, translate, adapt, or create derivative works based on platform content.

2.3 Instructor-Submitted Content

Instructors who submit original content to the platform for publication grant Dhark Veltex a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute such content for the purpose of providing the platform's educational services. Instructors retain ownership of their original works, subject to the terms agreed upon during onboarding.

3. User-Generated Content

3.1 Ownership

Users retain ownership of any original content they submit to the platform, including forum posts, comments, project submissions, and other contributions. By submitting content, users grant Dhark Veltex a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and reproduce that content in connection with the operation and promotion of the platform.

3.2 Content Standards

Users may not submit or upload any content that infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party. By submitting content, users represent and warrant that:

They are the original creator of the content or have obtained all necessary rights and permissions.
The content does not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights.
They have the authority to grant the license described above.

3.3 Removal of Infringing Content

Dhark Veltex reserves the right to remove any user-generated content that is reasonably believed to infringe third-party intellectual property rights, without prior notice and without liability to the submitting user.

4. Copyright Infringement and Takedown Procedure

4.1 Reporting Infringement

If you believe that content available on the Dhark Veltex platform infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please contact us with a written notice that includes:

A description of the copyrighted work or intellectual property you claim has been infringed.
A description of the content on our platform that you claim is infringing, with sufficient detail to locate it.
Your contact information, including name, address, telephone number, and email address.
A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or applicable law.
A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on the rights holder's behalf.

4.2 Response Process

Upon receipt of a valid takedown notice, Dhark Veltex will:

Promptly investigate the claim and assess the reported content.
Remove or restrict access to the allegedly infringing material if the claim is found to be credible.
Notify the user who submitted the content, where appropriate.
Provide an opportunity for counter-notification if the content is believed to have been removed in error.

4.3 Repeat Infringers

Dhark Veltex maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers of intellectual property rights. Determination of "repeat infringer" status is made at the sole discretion of Dhark Veltex based on the volume and credibility of verified complaints.

5. Third-Party Content and Licenses

The platform may incorporate or reference third-party content, open-source software, fonts, icons, or media under separate licenses. Such third-party materials remain subject to their respective license terms. Dhark Veltex makes no claim of ownership over third-party intellectual property displayed or used on the platform.

Where open-source components are used, their applicable license terms are respected and, where required, made available upon request. The use of such components does not imply that the platform itself is open-source or freely available for redistribution.

6. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are expressly prohibited and may result in suspension or termination of your access to the platform:

Scraping, crawling, or systematically extracting platform content using automated tools.
Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling any portion of the platform's software.
Circumventing any technical protection measures applied to platform content.
Reproducing platform content in whole or in part for commercial use without written authorization.
Misrepresenting the origin of platform content or removing copyright notices.
Using platform content to train machine learning models or artificial intelligence systems without prior written consent.

7. License Grants and Restrictions

No license, right, or interest in any platform content, trademark, or other intellectual property is transferred to you by virtue of your access to or use of the platform, except as explicitly stated in this policy. Any use of platform materials beyond the scope of the limited license described herein requires prior written permission from Dhark Veltex.
